Life is not always about the job, rank, and position – it’s about the lives you impact. Below are highlights of my career and some of my favorite projects. Please visit my LinkedIn profile if you’d rather see a traditional career journey.

2022 – The 4th Trimester, Business Advisor. From the founder’s vision, creating a business and operations model so that the start-up could provide much-needed postpartum care for new mothers. The program includes virtual, in-home, and in-clinic care to prevent physical and mental decline.

2022 – Quan Campbell Consulting starts to take off. Since then, I’ve been creating, accelerating, operationalizing, and launching services for life science and leadership organizations.

2021 – HUDDLE Study, Participant Experience and Recruitment, Edwards Lifescience. Co-created with client’s clinical and marketing departments a unique study targeting NFL Alumni and their family members to increase awareness in heart disease. We created a study experience like no other – where trust was established, attrition was almost unheard of, and participants referred their family and friends.

2019 – 2022 – Patient Engagement Consulting, IQVIA. I worked with both corporate and across business units to help their teams increase opportunities by including patient engagement elements in their work. It was great exposure to the inner workings of such a large organization.

2020 – Meeting patients where they’re at, Janssen. This series of projects focused on the decision-making process for bio-naïve patients and providing patient engagement enhancements to Janssen CarePath. The projects ranged across Janssen’s multiple biologic drugs and product teams, positively impacting thousands of patients lives.

2019 – COSENTYX Patient Engagement, Novartis. Working across business units I led the review and provided recommendations for improving the existing patient support program – from program design to training to KPIs, SLAs and contracting.

2018 – Aimovig Launch, Novartis. Led the team in creating and delivering a migraine empathy training module to fit within our patient engagement curriculum. We trained McKesson’s HUB services and patient engagement teams so that they could be empathetic to patients that often felt shame, fear, and guilt.

2018 – coflexConnect, Surgalign Spine. Collaboratively directed the team to design, develop and maintain a direct-to-patient support program. The program provided hope and education for those diagnosed with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis and helped them navigate their surgical journey through recovery.

2017 – My Fertility Navigator, Ferring Pharmaceuticals. I led the team to design, build, launch and maintain the program which aimed to help women take charge of their fertility and be better prepared and educated about their fertility journey. This program brought hope to women who otherwise would suffer in silence.

2017 – BC Bike Race. Completed one of the hardest events of my life – 7 days of racing mountain bikes in British Columbia’s single track. Throughout the week, I made new friends from around the world. I returned in 2019 to beat my time.

2015 – viekira pak, AbbVie. I headed up the virtual nursing launch of proCeed, a Hepatitis C patient engagement program to offer support for a disease that previously had no cure. I managed 50+ virtual nurses and partnered on the service level and training of all providers and sales teams.

2015 – Legacy Health Strategies, LLC, San Diego. I joined the Legacy team to leverage my in-clinic knowledge and apply it to larger-scale patient support programs for pharmaceutical and medical device clients.

2013 – San Diego Business Journal. I was honored with a “Women who mean business” recognition for my work with Lifewellness.

2013 – Causeway Technology, Ltd., London. My first international speaking engagement was educating employees about preventive care. Since then, I’ve held engagements in Thailand, Canada, and Mexico. I’ve also been known to wake up at 2am to deliver international virtual events.

2010-2014 – TimmyBFit, Intrado. Alongside the client’s marketing team, I strategized and rolled-out a large-scale corporate wellness program to help enhance employee’s lives. We implemented the program domestically and internationally.

2008 – University of California, San Diego. MBA. By the time I was COO at Lifewellness, I entered an MBA program to validate my on-the-job learnings with structured business methodologies. The unexpected benefit in San Diego was deep exposure to the life sciences and technology sectors, giving me advantages in my later work.

2006 – Ironman Finisher & Marathon Pacer. This year I completed my first and only Ironman in Arizona. I also rounded out my marathon career by pacing the UK’s Minister of Sport & the GM of Rockport to successful finishes. After 18 total marathons, my body asked for new adventures.

2004 – San Diego State University, San Diego. MS, Exercise Physiology. Finished my advanced degree while working at Lifewellness.

2001 – Lifewellness Institute, San Diego. I was the first employee hired to help establish and grow the inaugural fee-for-service primary care practices in the area. As the business matured, I learned the pain points for clinicians and patients and how to meet their needs through anticipation and collaboration.

2001-2008 – Rock n Roll Marathon, San Diego. Finish Line Manager and Bullpen Captain for medical treatment for all marathon finishers.

1996 – University of Oregon. BS, Exercise and Movement Sciences. Fulfilling my love for healing athletes, I learned first-hand that it takes a team to help anyone excel.
By the time I was 18 years old, my family had moved 13 times, as is typical of any military family. Three of the posts were international. I found it was easiest to integrate into new communities by participating in sports, and I am amazed at all the wonders of the world I’ve been lucky enough to experience.
